An Invitation

Hello Friends! Does life ever leave you exhausted? Do the daily demands leave you depleted? Are you in need of renewal? Please consider this an invitation! We’d love for YOU to join us as we search the Scriptures and study God’s Word. The plans are to use ReNEWal Road: The Journey of Becoming More Like Jesus as our guide. You can order the book HERE and then let us know in the comments that you’ll be joining the study. I’ll be lifting you in prayer before our time together even begins! We are excited for what God will teach us as we study His Word together.

2 Corinthians 4:16 says, “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.”

It’s true – life can wear us out, daily struggles leave us exhausted and sin in the world might overwhelm, but God is always working. Even when we don’t see it and especially when we don’t feel it! He renews and He does it with His Word, which is why we are excited to get started with our newest study.

The Details

• Start Date for the online study is Monday, September 24th. Join us on the website each Monday as we introduce the chapter and start our week in prayer. Then feel free to come back and comment throughout the week.  I encourage you to ask questions and share insights from your time in the Word.
• This will be a 6 week study with a lesson for each weekday. If Bible study is new for you, start to make a plan now how you can incorporate it in your schedule.
• Be sure to invite your Bible study girlfriends so we can learn together and from one another!

A Little Info

Here’s a look at the chapters we’ll be covering and a few questions to think about –

• Surrender – What does it mean? How can we do it?
• Transformation – Can God really change me from the inside out?
• God’s Expectations– What does God really expect from me?
• The High Calling of Holiness – What does it mean to be holy? How can I be holy?
• Resolve – Have I decided to follow Jesus? What should I do as I follow Him?
• Rest – Is rest possible? What does it mean to be still? How can I rest?

I realize these aren’t topics we talk about every day, but studying them can change us in many ways. Friend, God led me down this “ReNEWal Road” long before the book was a reality. As a wife, mom, teacher and coach, He met me in His Word and made me more like Him. I trust He will do the same for you!! That is my prayer as we begin.
