Sometimes I Fall

"though He stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread." Psalm 37:24-25 NIV

Sometimes I fall.

I don't know about you, but at those moments when I trip and I stumble, I contemplate staying down.

Sometimes I don't want to get back up. But God, this week, reminded me that He holds me in the palm of His hands.

And there is nothing that can trip me so hard that will keep me down.

It's only my thinking, my wrong thinking that will prevent me from standing.

So today He said, "Luann get up, I have more for you to do."

And there is something reassuring in those soft spoken words to my heart... that I'm not doing this alone... I might get weary... I might feel like giving up.

But because God said, "I have more for you to do," it gave me a sense of purpose. He made me realize I am not alone.

And girlfriend, you are not alone either. Let's run this race together.

What a beautiful jar of clay you are Mama Lu!

As God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.  That is why we never give up.  Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.  For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long.  Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!  So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen.  For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.  (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭15-18‬ NLT)
