Testimony

Dawn grew up in a Christian home and accepted Jesus as her savior when she was nine years old. Later that year, her father walked out on her family and it rocked her world. For years, she fervently asked God to repair her family. He did, but when her repentant father returned home when she was fifteen, her heart remained broken and unforgiving. Thirty years later, Dawn wrestled with God a final time over her unforgiving heart toward her father. Finally, seeing him through God’s eyes and with the grace of Jesus, she extended forgiveness to her father. It was then she experienced true freedom in Christ like never before. It’s this message of freedom through forgiveness that Dawn desires to share.

Family Life

Dawn lives in Connecticut with her husband, Peter. Together they’ve raised two adult children who have blessed them with six adorable grandchildren. Dawn is a published author and blogger, having written for children as well as adults for Bethany House and Halo Publishing International. Besides writing, she enjoys her family, long walks on the beach, road trips and sipping coffee in a quiet house.
