Today’s Special is: Sometimes We Should Follow Our “Gut Instincts”
Carefully prepared just for you by your friend, Savannah Parvu
Main Ingredient:

Remain in me as I also remain in you…

John 15:4 NIV

You’ve probably heard the saying “just go with your gut.”  You know, the feeling that comes at first when you know that you should or should not do something!

I have found that in my own life my gut instinct is normally something that I can trust.  If I get a bad feeling about something it’s normally best not to do it.  It’s the same when I have a really good feeling about something.  There are times that this gut instinct can seem foolish to yourself or others, but it’s something inside you that says you need or don’t need to do something.

Take Out:

As I continue to grow closer to the Lord and strive to follow His lead, I am finding that my “Gut” is of the Lord.  The Scripture above tells us that if we remain in the Lord He will remain in us. If He is what we are filling our life with, He is what will flow out of us.  Our “gut instinct” will be that of the Lord.

Dear Lord, thank You for remaining in us.  Help us to walk with You and fill our lives with You.  Help us to recognize and trust instincts that are from You.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
